The highlights of the three-day Summit are Conference, Exhibition, B2B Meetings, industry/ field visit and release of Handbook on GVCs.

In this age of globalization, production and services network has transcended national boundaries and the entire world has become one integrated value chain. International trade is increasingly driven by trade in value added goods and intermediate goods as well as trade in services. The Summit will provide an opportunity to develop and profit the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) potential to export and explore joint ventures, franchises and create the much-desired awareness on Global Value Chains (GVCs) as the accelerator for exports.

The 7th edition of the Global Economic Summit will stimulate a multi-dimensional discussion on the opportunities and challenges for SMEs to connect with the global value chains. The Summit will discuss the significance of GVCs in attaining sustainable development goals, emerging opportunities for SMEs in the GVC, imperatives of access to finance, infrastructure and logistics services, government policies as catalyst for GVCs, GVCs in the age of technological revolution.

The earlier editions of the Global Economic Summit addressed topics such as Trade and Investment Opportunities, Small and Medium Enterprises, Clusters in One World: Perspectives from Many Nations, Asia: Powering Global Markets, Enabling Food for All, and Women Empowerment: Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Capacity Building, which witnessed participation of over 500 delegates from across 30 countries including India. We expect a similar level of participation in this edition as well.

The Summit will be addressed by Policymakers, Economists, Business and Corporate Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Academicians and experts from multilateral organizations.
